Cody Johnson's San Antonio Concert Encounter
On June 21, 2025, Cody Johnson performed at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, marking his second consecutive night at the venue after a sold-out show. However, this performance was marred by an altercation that occurred approximately three hours into the concert. The incident took place around 10:29 PM, shortly after Johnson's rendition of "God Bless America," a song he often performs to honor military personnel and first responders.
Footage from the event showed fans engaging in a physical confrontation, prompting Johnson to pause the show and address the audience. He remarked, ?I mean, this is not a Travis Scott concert,? referencing the tragic events of the 2021 Astroworld festival. Prior to the disturbance, Johnson had spoken about unity and discouraging division among fans. Following his comments, security intervened to remove those involved in the fight, allowing Johnson to continue with his performance. Despite this incident, he remains scheduled for his next concert on June 26 at Country Jam in Mack, Colorado.
Cody Johnson Saint Paul Concert reviews
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
I was pretty nervous since Raleigh the night before got canceled to to weather and because of a storm watch there was some delay getting into the venue and the gates being opened later but I mean WOW did they make up for it!!! The whole venue environment was amazing! Ian, and Easton both sounded awesome and knew how to get a crowd pretty rowdy!! But I mean Cody was just incredible!!!! Its not often you hear artists sounding just like their recordings if not better but he really did!!! He had some of the best stage presence I have ever seen, and was always keeping the crowd involved!! I wish he played for even longer than he did!! Will definitely be seeing him again whenever he comes in the area!!
